Silicone Air Fryer Liner Review | A user review

Air fryers are a must for me to prepare my meals and finding out a few ways to make cleaning easier has always been my goal. I tried parchment and baking paper, aluminum foils, cooking sprays, and what not! Then one day, silicone air fryer liners turned my life upside down! 

I had cleaned too many dirty air fryer baskets so I wanted to try something I could use again and that was good for the environment. I thought silicone liners might fix my issue.

I wanted to check if it could handle regular use, and more, if it would keep me from having to scrub after cooking.

First Impressions

When I got the silicone air fryer liner, specifically the SEROPY Silicon Air-Fryer Liners, it came in basic packaging—nothing fancy, which was fine. The liner itself caught my eye right away with its feel and bendability. It seemed tough yet soft, and its thickness gave me confidence. 

It was sturdy, unlike other silicone appliances that I used before. It also came in with clippers to take it out whenever it was done, which was efficient! 

Working through it was smooth like butter. All I had to do was to open the package and the protective film, and just slip it in the air fryer basket. With no extra tools or complicated steps, it was an easy setup. On top of that, it also has ridges that help to lift food up without sticking to the bottom and also help food get cooked through and crisp up.

Fit and Compatibility

I have a COSORI 9Qt 10-in-1 Dual Air Fryer, which is huge so it got me thinking whether it would fit or not.  But, the silicone liner slipped right into the basket. It wasn’t snug, but it didn’t move around either. The bendy material would let it fit smaller or oddly-shaped air fryers too, so it’s good for lots of models.

I did spot one thing – if your air fryer is on the small side, you might need to fold or cut it a bit. You can’t change the size of the liner, but because it bends, it fits most types of air fryers.

Performance

I put the liner to the test with different foods to see how well it worked. I began with some basic frozen French fries. I set the air fryer to 400°F, its typical temperature, and kept an eye on the silicone to check if it could handle the heat. 

It showed no signs of melting or warping, which was good news. The fries turned out just as crispy as they would without the liner, and I didn’t spot any change in cooking time.

The true challenge arose when I prepared buffalo wings. These create quite a nightmare to clean so I wanted to check if the non-stick claim held up. To my amazement, the wings came off without any trouble, not sticking at all. They turned out just right, crunchy outside and juicy inside. The liner didn’t block air circulation due to the ridges so the food cooked throughout.

I was pleased to find that the liner didn’t change the cooking duration, which was great because I had concerns it might slow down the crisping process.

Ease of Cleaning

After cooking the wings, I expected the typical greasy mess, but cleaning the silicone liner proved simple. I cleaned it by hand using soap and warm water, and the grease disappeared immediately. No stubborn stains or smells lingered, which always worries me when I cook with marinated foods.

I also put it in the dishwasher later to check if it would handle it, and it looked as good as new afterwards. It’s dishwasher-safe, which I love. Up to now, even sticky or greasy foods haven’t led to any cleaning problems, which makes this liner a real breakthrough for me.

Durability 

The silicone air fryer liner has shown its value after 15 uses. It keeps looking new without any noticeable harm—no breaks, rips, or shifts in color. Its resilience impresses me when I compare it to the disposable parchment liners I used. Those often tore or became wet and unusable after just one use, but this silicone version seems built to endure.

When it comes to longevity, this liner far surpasses disposable options. I can already tell it will help me cut costs as time passes. So it may be an expensive purchase for some, but the cost over value is much cheaper,, and these wraps last forever!

Value for Money

When I first noticed the price tag on the silicone air fryer liner, it looked costly compared to my regular parchment paper liners. But after using it several times, I saw that it was a smart buy. 

Because you can use it over and over, you don’t need to keep buying disposables, which saves money in the long run. The easy cleanup and eco-friendly aspects make it worth the cost.

If you use an air fryer often, you’ll get your money’s worth. I’ve already cut down on buying parchment paper, and it feels good to produce less waste.

Final Verdict

After trying out this silicone air fryer liner for a few weeks, I can say with certainty that I’d suggest it to others. It’s made air-frying simpler and more fun for me when it comes to cleaning up. I believe this liner would be a great addition to any kitchen. It’s useful for busy cooks at home, people who love their air fryers, or anyone wanting to cut down on waste by using something reusable.
